- The National chainless, begun about two years earlier and first finished in midsummer 1900, is now made in four models after the addition of cushion frame versions, with coaster brake hubs of the firm's own design fitted when wanted.
- The full line of eleven National models, priced from $40.00 upwards, comprises full and light roadsters, racing machines, cushion frame chain wheels and rigid and cushion frame chainless bicycles, any of which may take a coaster brake; the handle bar and seat post binders, chain adjuster and crank hanger are of the firm's own design and made in its Bay City factory.
- A colour plate headed with the cushion frame chainless model at a price of $75.00, showing a man's and a woman's machine above and below the Pan-American Exposition medallion.
