- The conditions of the 24 hours race: entry limited to 18 competitors riding in club colours with numbers sewn front and back, each provided with a bell tent in the track straight where all feeding must take place, four attendants and up to 40 pacemakers apiece, pacemakers under the absolute control of the Pacemaker Marshalls, half-hourly posting of distances, and a bar on brakes, free wheels and unprotected handlebar ends.
- The starting list, giving each competitor's number, name, club and racing colours — J. E. Holdsworth (Kentish Wheelers) in black with a white band, T. Hughes (Palantine C.C.), F. Cave arrives as the best of the newcomers after a 6 Hours' Paced Race win that wiped out C. H. Bartlett's long-standing record.

Cave holding hours four to six and H. Pearson hours seventeen to twenty-three, all subject to acceptance by the N.C.U. Records Association.
- A fold-out scoring grid, printed sideways, on which spectators could enter each competitor's mileage at every hour of the race, headed by the standing 24-hour record of 531 miles 1,320 yards held by J. Holdsworth.
- The Saturday athletics meeting held under A.A.A. laws between Herne Hill Harriers, Polytechnic Harriers, South London Harriers and Surrey Athletic Club, listing its officials — J. Sullivan as referee, E. F. Vowles as starter — the team secretaries, and the scoring of 4, 3, 2 and 1 points for the first four places.
