- Gives August lighting-up times and moon phases, prints a lengthy reader account of an Italian tour from Bordighera through Florence, Foligno, Loreto and Bologna to Venice, correspondence on touring Lakes Garda, Como, Maggiore and Lugano, and members' queries and replies on accommodation in Scotland, Sussex, Yorkshire, Brittany, Normandy, Paris and Budapest.

Rumney: describes fitting a tandem with the new B.S.A. pattern auto-wheel (motor attachment) and a 517-mile tour from London via Wisley, Farnham, Bath, Gloucester, Bridgnorth, Chester, Liverpool and Lancaster to Keswick, with detailed notes on gearing, oil consumption and mechanical drawbacks.
- By George R. Tweedie: recounts cycling trips around Hampshire photographing notable ancient yew trees, including those at Warblington Church, Hound churchyard near Netley, Brockenhurst, the Rufus Stone near Winchester, and the celebrated clipped yew at Twyford.

- By Jno. Hingeley: describes a south-to-north ride across Staffordshire from Birmingham to Buxton via Tamworth, Abbots Bromley, Uttoxeter, the Dove and Churnet valleys, Leek and the moorland village of Flash.
- By R. Lister: a touring guide to the Isle of Man starting from Douglas, with day-ride suggestions to Ramsey and the Point of Ayr, Laxey and Snaefell, Peel, and Castletown and Port St. Mary, including the chasms and Sugar Loaf Rock.
- By John Ll. Warden Page: a tour by yacht and bicycle through County Mayo, Ireland, beginning at Clare Island (associated with Grace O'Malley/Grania Uaille), crossing Achill Sound by ferry, and cycling through Bangor Erris, Bellacorick and Crossmolina back to Newport.

- Members' letters on cycling touring literature (Thomas Stevens, the Workmans' Algerian Memories), experiences with self-sealing air tubes and the Villiers two-speed gear, cycling in middle age, Edwin Cannan on motor taxation policy, a custom-built "cob" bicycle frame, and opposition to the licensing of "trade" cyclists proposed by the Corporation of London.
