- Foreign chronicle as winter tracks open: the Ghent six-day won by Debaets–Thollembeck, Martinetti crowned professional world sprint champion, the Paris "Toussaint" grand prix won by Michard, the Chicago six-day taken by Laus–Petri, and the rebuilt Berlin "Sportpalast" track's steep banking troubling Kaufmann, Tonani and Spear.
