- A leader reporting that bicycles on the roads seemed doubled over last Easter and that horses are growing used to them, but that "holiday cads" are not, one member has been assaulted, and urging the Bicycle Union to act; it notes that Rochester and Leicester already require bells, lamps and a moderate pace, and that policemen at every entrance to Winchester demanded a bell or a dismount.
- The Club's Easter run to Bath: a party left the Western Depôt on Friday for the "George" at Winchester, warning of the two-mile drag out of Alton and the dangerously steep descent into Winchester, then, rain stopping play, took the train to Salisbury, Wyndham having to go home after his machine was found cracked at the head.
- District reports for June 22: four West men over Duck's Hill, the steepest in Middlesex, through Moor Park to tea and a swim in the Colne with the I Zingari at "The Swan," Rickmansworth, 37 miles; three of the S.W. from Surbiton to Ripley by Leatherhead and Cobham; and a thin S.E. turnout from the "Hare and Billet" over Polhill to tea at the "Bull," Otford, with a visit to the ruined Episcopal Palace and home by the Darent valley.
- A nine-line verse puzzle signed A. S. Ister, whose initials spell the name of "one famous in our sport" and whose terminals spell his reward.
- The July fixture list by district: July 6 for Navestock, Little Berkhampstead, Windsor via the Great Park, Chobham, East Grinstead and Greenhithe; the General Meet of July 13, when every district converges on Chigwell by way of the top of Lea Bridge Road; July 20 for Upminster, Rickmansworth, Burnham Beeches and Westerham; and July 27 for Ongar, Hatfield, Horseley Towers, Dorking and Sevenoaks.
- Report of the meeting, with a one-mile members' race won by T. W. Young from John Horn and J. J. Turner, and heat-by-heat detail of the two-mile open handicap in which A. Herbert, Griffits, W. Quirk and Vacani took the heats; prizes were given by Lady Lubbock and the Royal Artillery Mounted Band played.
- Concludes the Private Banks final, in which Quirk beat Carr and Herbert while Wyndham lost 100 yards and Griffits was disqualified for forcing Vacani on to the ropes, then lists meetings from the L.A.C. and Beckenham C.C. handicaps of June 29 through the Pickwick, Temple and Joint Stock Banks races to the Brighton, Stanley and Tower Hamlets meetings in July and August.
- W. R. Sewell's road notes down the Portsmouth road by Godalming and Milford to Petworth ("Swan"), Bury Hill, worse than Hind Head, through Arundel Park's cinder-path drive to Littlehampton and Bognor ("The Norfolk," with G. Hooker at the Waterworks for repairs), then Chichester, Havant, Portsdown Hill, Wickham, the "Red Lion" at West Meon and Alton, with a cycling curate of Hambledon met on the way.
- "Will-o'-the-Wheel" asks for a consolidated hotel résumé, tour dates and the name of each run's tea house; Francis Godlee offers stabling at Walthamstow and Mr. Jolly's coach-house for the July 13 General Meet; "Cinder" complains of the race meeting's winning post and asks for distinctive racing colours; "S." describes being whipped off his machine by dogcart occupants at Smitham Bottom and argues for licensing and tolls to win legal rights; H. Sharpe protests at coats, collars and gloves in warm weather; and "Bunker," "Florizel" and the Editor debate Johnson's and Thompson's cyclometers and revolution versus mileage indicators.
