- Leader proposing, tongue in cheek, that the Bicycle Union appoint a scientific committee to study the foes that prey on cycling, on the model of the agricultural societies' consulting entomologists. It names lawn tennis, the river, the 'humble potterer's' dolce far niente and above all the Influence of Woman as the rival attractions thinning Club Meets.
- Report of the Committee meeting of Monday 21st May: A. H. Garvey's resignation accepted from 1st January, Darling & Son's new printing tender (6s. off per issue) accepted, and a resolution that no alteration of Club rules is advisable to encourage tricyclists and that no tricycle Road Trial be held. Prizes for the Club Mile offered by Messrs. Rucker, Theo. Godlee and Scrutton were accepted with thanks.
- Announces the Special General Meeting on the position of tricyclists, at the 'City Arms Tavern,' St. Mary Axe, on Monday 18th June at 6.30 p.m., and prints the agenda, the Committee's recommendation plus F. E. Scrutton's two rule motions (O.U.Bi.C./C.U.Bi.C. officers; twenty-mile club-membership bar) and W. J. Williams's motion on the Club Meet attendance prizes. Signed E. S. Price, Hon. Sec.
- E. S. Price reminds members that the Annual Race Meeting is on Saturday 16th June at 3 p.m., tickets 1s. 6d. from Committee members, and urges entries for the Club Mile, three ex-Captains, Rucker, Theo. Godlee and Scrutton, have all presented prizes this year.
- The annual match with the Oxford University Bicycle Club will be at the Crystal Palace track on Wednesday 13th June at 6 p.m.; members are asked to buy their 1s. tickets from the Hon. Sec. because the Club must settle for a hundred tickets whether used or not.
- R. B. Hough of 151 Amhurst Road, Hackney, reminds defaulting members that their subscriptions are five months overdue and directs them to Rule 18.
- Captain Ashley W. Barrett asks for the names of members willing to ride for the Club in the matches against the Universities.
- District Captain R. G. Francis calls out the S.E. for next Saturday's run to Erith to welcome the N.E. on S.E. soil; the Croydon division starts at 4.15 punctually via Orpington, with tea at the riverside 'Cross Keys' inn.
- District Captain Theo. Godlee reminds the N.E. of the Erith run next Saturday and of the well-established precedent of a good muster, promising that the S.E. roads will be good this time.
- District Captain Harold C. Pigott announces the run to Iver next Saturday, assembling at 3.45, and notes that the district's average attendance this season far exceeds any previous year.
- H. N. Smith reports only fifteen entries for the tennis tournament, the Bath Trial having absorbed everyone's attention, and extends entries (name and shilling) to Monday evening 28th instant, after which none will be accepted.
- Full account of the triple meet at the 'Old Sugar Loaf,' Dunstable, told through the reports of each District Captain and of the Oxford and Cambridge Captains, the S.E. quartette from Croydon lunching with Fred Williams at West Drayton, the West's 23 miles from Acton in 2hr 15min, the main body's windy thirteen miles from the 'Pea Hen,' St. Albans, and the speeches by J. S. Whatton and W. F. M. Buckley. Grand total 90 present, with the full name list by District.
- Notes signed 'The Front Wheel Hub' on the C.T.C.'s May candidate list of 1,058 and roll of nearly 7,500, the Locket and Tanner entrance-fee motions for the Birmingham Annual General Meeting, the tenth Hampton Court Meet (Brixton Ramblers 39 strong), H. W. Gaskell's win in the Sutton B.C. Five Miles Invitation Scratch at the Crystal Palace, and the seventy-three entries for the West Kent Open Mile Handicap.
- Tabulated meet fixtures by district, N.E., N.W., W., S.W. and the Croydon and Blackheath divisions of the S.E., giving starting points and times for the runs to Erith and Iver and for the following week's Harlow, Chenies, Sunbury and Sanderstead paperchase.

L.B.C. at the Crystal Palace, to the London B.C. races of 16th June.
