- Obituary of Arthur Sherwood Kendall of Wollaston, Mass., music master of the Boston Bicycle Club, who died Aug. 7 at Roxbury Hospital and wrote many songs for the club including 'Bibamus' and 'Our Song'.
- Notes from 1886 recalling the L. A. W. officers' meet over the 'makers' amateurs' question, Abbot Bassett's handling of the Racing Board, his founding of the paper 'The Cycle,' and the Boston L. A. W. meet of May 28.
