Thompson wins both the two-mile and five-mile handicaps, and a foul by Levy in the Class B two-mile nearly costs Ellithorpe victory but he closes the gap and nips Githens at the tape — Levy is suspended 30 days, then reinstated at Ellithorpe's request.
