- Report from the Louisville Commercial of the Exposition-building tournament's second night, headlined by a 25-mile race in which Mlle. Louise Armaindo beat Prof. Rollinson by a mile and a half in 1h34m, plus a boys' mile dash won by Willie Preston and fancy riding by W. F. Francke and Charles Jenkins.
- The tournament's third day, a fifty-mile match between Louisville's Charles Jenkins and Henry Schimpeler and Chicago's Conkling and Miller; Jenkins won in 3:25:08 despite Schimpeler's mid-race crash, with fancy riding by Louis Franke.
