- R. H. English of North Shields B.C. won the 25-mile amateur championship at Leicester on July 25th in 1h.20m.13s., beating R. Cripps of Nottingham by a foot and W. Terry of Birchfield Harriers by eight yards before 2,000 spectators.
- Results of the second annual tournament of the Bay City Wheelmen at San Francisco on July 25th, including wins by W. H. Gibbons (slow race), T. L. Hill, W. G. Davis (one-mile scratch and five-mile handicap) and a two-mile exhibition by F. R. Cook, champion of the Pacific coast, in 6.25.
